ABOUT
Turning to abstract painting after a meditation experience, Pratima Aravabhoomi explores what it means to be human through the intersection of logic and spirituality. Aravabhoomi’s abstracted works are vibrant explorations of humanness. She uses mixed media such as fabric, paper, acrylic, ink, charcoal, pastels to create visual amalgamations in her paintings like fragments of a journal, capturing the beauty of individual expression against the backdrop of the mysterious universal.
“My paintings are what I call humanscapes — portraits of humanness. our oddities, conflicts, vibrant nature of our life set against the landscape of the universal.” - Pratima Aravabhoomi
